Seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com.mx\/Gran-Consultor-Practico-Larousse-Vols\/dp\/B013PXHVJG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Larousse<\/a>, los verbos son las actividades que realizan o padecen las personas, animales o cosas y situaciones o estados en las que se encuentran. En espa\u00f1ol, los infinitivos terminan en <strong>-ar, -er o -ir<\/strong>, como por <strong>ejemplo<\/strong> &#8220;hablar&#8221;, &#8220;comer&#8221; y &#8220;vivir&#8221; y no corro, corres, hablamos, hablan, es decir, no indica quien lo ejecuta, modo, tiempo, aspecto, n\u00famero u otros.<\/p>\n<p>El infinitivo de los verbos ingleses va precedido siempre de la part\u00edcula <strong>to<\/strong>. Por ejemplo, to speak, to listen, to write, to go, to be (Hablar, escuchar, escribir, ir, ser o estar).<\/p>\n<p>Para obtener la forma negativa del infinitivo, es suficiente con anteponerle la part\u00edcula <strong>not<\/strong> (<em>To be or not to be<\/em>, ser o no ser).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Presente<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El presente de los verbos ingleses es <strong>igual a su infinitivo<\/strong>. Pero en la tercera persona del singular (\u00e9l, ella, he, she) se a\u00f1ade una <strong>s<\/strong> (siguiendo las reglas del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transtle.com\/es\/ingles\/ingles-a1\/plural-en-ingles\/\">plural<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>To love, amar<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We love the sunset. &#8211; Amamos el atardecer.<\/li>\n<li>He love<strong>s<\/strong> his mother. \u2013 \u00c9l ama a su madre.<\/li>\n<li>They love Spain. \u2013 Ellos aman espa\u00f1a.<\/li>\n<li>You love cooking. \u2013 T\u00fa amas cocinar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To come, venir<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tambi\u00e9n se usa para expresar de qu\u00e9 pa\u00eds provenimos.<\/li>\n<li>I come from Venezuela. \u2013 Yo soy de Venezuela.<\/li>\n<li>My grandmother comes from Africa. \u2013 Mi abuela es de Africa.<\/li>\n<li>He comes from the store. \u2013 \u00c9l viene de la tienda.<\/li>\n<li>They come from running. \u2013 Ellos vienen de correr.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To go, ir<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I go to the beach. \u2013 Voy a la playa.<\/li>\n<li>We go to the mall. \u2013 Vamos al centro comercial.<\/li>\n<li>I want to go to the office. \u2013 Quiero ir a la oficina.<\/li>\n<li>She goes to her house. \u2013 Ella va a su casa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To live, vivir<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I live in Buenos Aires. \u2013 Vivo en Buenos Aires.<\/li>\n<li>Estefano lives in Madrid. \u2013 Estefano vive en Madrid.<\/li>\n<li>You live in Granada. \u2013 Tu vives en Granada.<\/li>\n<li>They live in Paris. \u2013 Ellos viven en Paris.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Preposiciones<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Como se observa en las oraciones de ejemplo, con los verbos se utilizan palabras, como la preposici\u00f3n <strong>to<\/strong> cuando se expresa un movimiento hacia un lugar, en espa\u00f1ol se emplea <strong>a<\/strong>, en ingl\u00e9s, <strong>to<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I go to Boston. \u2013 Voy a Boston.<\/li>\n<li>I go to London. \u2013 Voy a Londres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Cuando se expresa un <strong>movimiento desde un lugar a otro<\/strong>, o para decir de que pa\u00eds se es, el \u201cde\u201d o \u201cdesde\u201d espa\u00f1ol se traduce por <strong>from.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I come from Brazil \u2013 Soy de Brazil.<\/li>\n<li>He is from Venezuela. \u2013 El es de Venezuela.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Cuando se expresa una <strong>posici\u00f3n o un estado en un lugar<\/strong>, cualquiera que sea la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upb.edu.co\/es\/central-blogs\/ortografia\/uso-de-las-preposiciones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preposici\u00f3n<\/a> empleada en espa\u00f1ol, en ingl\u00e9s se utiliza <strong>at<\/strong> para lugares peque\u00f1os e <strong>in<\/strong> para lugares grandes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I\u2019m at the library. \u2013 Estoy en la librer\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li>They are at school. \u2013 Ellos est\u00e1n en la escuela.<\/li>\n<li>They live in Bali. \u2013 Ellos viven en Bali.<\/li>\n<li>Marcela is in England. \u2013 Marcela est\u00e1 en Inglaterra.<\/li>\n<li><i>Existen m\u00e1s preposiciones, estas son algunas.<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Verbos ingleses en forma negativa<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La forma negativa del presente del verbo, excluyendo los verbos auxiliares, se forma con el verbo auxiliar <strong>to do<\/strong> y <strong>not<\/strong> que se colocan <strong>entre el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transtle.com\/es\/ingles\/ingles-a1\/pronombres-personales-sujeto-ingles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sujeto<\/a> y el verbo<\/strong>, usando el infinitivo del verbo principal sin <strong>to<\/strong>. En la tercera persona singular (he, she, it) se emplea <strong>does not<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ejemplos:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She does not want to dance. &#8211; Ella no quiere Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Contracci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>En el ingl\u00e9s moderno y hablado, se suelen contraer las palabras, pasando de <b>do not<\/b> a <b>don\u2019t<\/b> y <b>does not<\/b> a <b>doesn\u2019t.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>She doesn\u2019t want to dance. &#8211; Ella no quiere bailar.<\/li>\n<li>You don&#8217;t come today. &#8211; Tu no vienes hoy.<\/li>\n<li>He doesn\u2019t live in Canada. &#8211; El no vive en Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Verbos ingleses en forma interrogativa<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta forma se emplea el auxiliar <strong>to do antes del sujeto.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do you love music? \u2013 \u00bfAmas la m\u00fasica?<\/li>\n<li>Do you visit your family? &#8211; \u00bfVisitas tu ciudad?<\/li>\n<li>Does she live in that house? &#8211; \u00bfElla vive en esa casa?<\/li>\n<li>Does he make enough money? \u2013 \u00bfEl gana suficiente dinero?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Relacionado: <a traduce por <em>house<\/em> si se refiere a la edificaci\u00f3n y se traduce por <em>home<\/em> cuando se refiere al hogar\/familia.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Verbos Regulares<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los verbos regulares se conjugan de una forma determinada; la regla general para el pasado y participio es a\u00f1adir <strong>ed<\/strong> al infinitivo sin <strong>to<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width:
